Being as I am, forever looking for lilac blushes, I was dumbfounded by finding out that Moira, this pretty inexpensive brand, had one within its range. I just waited patiently until the blush duo in Berry Flirty was on sale and I snatch it up as soon as it was.
I’ve been getting more and more into Moira. The multichrome eyeliners brought some attention to this brand, but what actually caught my eye in the first place were their ombre blushes (of course it was a blush). How could I resist that pan design?
La Mer has never been able to entice me when it comes to skincare, but from reviews I’ve seen, the makeup is a whole nother ball park. Their Soft Fluid Longwear foundation has been loved by La Mer obsessed and critics alike, so I feel like I had to give my two cynic cents as well.
I told you I was going to get another shade of Ariana Grande’s beauty brand highlighters. I had a hard time picking out which, but ended up choosing Uranus for more reasons than the name and the potential for “where the sun does shine” jokes.
Multichromes are all the rage. I’m happy to rage along, multichromes have been the most noteworthy innovation in makeup in the last few years for me – and this is the first time I get to try them in eyeliner form. Moira just recently released their Multichrome Gel Liners and I would have gotten more shades if they weren’t sold out – but for now, I have Electra to test.
I’ve delved into Lethal Cosmetics before but I’ve never tried one of their blushes (shocker, I now). For the first shade I ever tried, I had to go with something unique, because indie brands are the only ones who dare to make unconventional colours. So I chose Aster.
I have to make an effort to avoid buying everything new that comes out. Natasha Denona’s Yucca palette has a really interesting and trendy colour story, but I haven’t spend the previous 3 years buying every dirty green eyeshadow I could find for nothing.
I’ve had too many expensive blush reviews in a row, it’s time to switch gears. One can definitely get blushed up on a budget. Looking at all the blushes I own, the most inexpensive (that is still available) is Wet n Wild’s ColorIcon Blush in Nudist Society, a 3,99€ option that deserves a bit of spotlight in this blog.
Dior’s Backstage line seems to have a few interestingly uncommon products, and one of them is the Face & Body Powder-No-Powder. After using it, I’m not sure it fits my needs enough to warrant a permanent place in my makeup collection, but it is so unique I might repurchase it just because I haven’t found anything else quite like it, ever.
I have mentioned this bronzing powder before but I’ve never written a dedicated review on it. It’s now or never, since this seems to be getting discontinued and is available on very few retailers, typically at a clearance price. Bittersweet, since you can get it cheap now, but never again.
