Sequins in Mesh: Wearing A Glamourous Tapestry

In a less than glamorous body. I’m still struggling with my post-pregnancy shape, but that didn’t stop me from picking a rather risqué outfit for my friend’s wedding. Don’t mistake my choice for bravery or healthy self-confidence though – my first choice didn’t fit, and this was the best I could find in such short notice.

The dress itself, from Dixie, is gorgeous. It’s a completely sheer black mesh with embroidered sequin flowers, and I had to use a black tank top and black short shorts in order to not commit indecent exposure.

I paired it with my L’Autre Chose big white round bag that I’ve actually worn to another wedding previously, and I decided to use my mirrored pointy heels that I purchase in Greece while on honeymoon – the brand is called Menbur and they are one of the best finds of my life, these shoes are both comfortable and stunning.

This is how you can’t tell I’m not a fashion influencer, there is a very unsexy receipt sticking out of my bag and I didn’t even notice.
Wide-angle lenses are my new best friend.

Aren’t those shoes gorgeous? That’s the great thing about shoes (and makeup!): no matter how big or small you get, they always fit the same.
