In a less than glamorous body. I’m still struggling with my post-pregnancy shape, but that didn’t stop me from picking a rather risqué outfit for my friend’s wedding. Don’t mistake my choice for bravery or healthy self-confidence though – my first choice didn’t fit, and this was the best I could find in such short notice.
Little Black Dress & a Coat to Impress
It seemed appropriate to post a little black dress outfit in anticipation of the upcoming Valentine’s Day, so here it is.
We were at the garden of the Monserrate Palace, in Sintra. A very romantic place. I wanted to wear something feminine, but it is still winter so I had to prevent the granted hypothermia I would have suffered with just a plain black dress, hence the big fur coat – and I’m wearing skin-coloured tights, by the way. It may not look like it in the photos, but I am. Bare-legged in January is, ironically, a version of Hell for me.
Fashion Faux Pas – Furla, you little monster!
I’m someone who prides herself in wearing everything they buy. Things don’t get forgotten. I have a lot of stuff – queue the sad violin my fiancé is playing after getting his space cut in half to make room for my 5 giant wardrobes I brought in when we moved in together.
And yet, my conscience is clear, because I’m not taking up space wastefully – I wear everything in my closet. Regularly.
Except for this.
