Top 5 | Best Peach Blushes (2021)

Spring is coming. The days are longer, the sun is out. Pastels and light, soft colours are of the hour. And I want a peach of that.

Gimme them peach blushes. I want to have resting peach face.

I find peach blushes to be very flattering on me. I’ve accumulated a few over the years – and while some of my holy grails have been discontinued (Marc Jacobs Flesh and Fantasy, I’m looking at you), most are still available and not limited edition. So here are my top 5.

The blushes are in order of shiniest to matte.

MAC Fairly Precious Extra Dimension Blush

I love the Extra Dimension formula. I’ve raved about it before – the shine is intense but looks surprisingly natural, without emphasizing natural skin texture, and the formula blends like a dream.

Milani Luminoso Baked Blush

This blush has been around for over 10 years and still shows up in people’s favourites lists. I can see why. The finish is a soft shine, almost like a satin – and as it usually goes with baked formulas, the more you blend, the more it’ll shine. It can kick up a bit of powder in the pan but when applied it doesn’t have that look that it just sits on top of the skin like some powdery blushes can have – it’s pretty smooth and skin-like. It has soft but buildable pigmentation.

Burberry Light Glow Blush in No. 06 Tangerine

This is such an underrated blush line. It’s sooo good. One of the smoothest formulas I’ve ever tried. Feels like velvet. The shade is almost like a neutral peach, not too warm, natural and very hard to overdue. It also has a really long longevity – 14 hours, easily. Not just one of my favourite peach blushes – one of my favourite blushes of all time, period.

Chanel Jersey Joues Contraste Blush

Here is another pretty popular formula. Chanel blushes don’t always work for me – but when they do, they’re amazing. The Jersey shade is the darkest peach on this list; it has a pretty matte finish, apart from some tiny, tiny micro glitters that permeate the blush. It’s a very finely milled powder and surprisingly pigmented – the blushes in this list so far have been more sheer and buildable, but this one is more intense straight out of the gate.

MAC Peaches Powder Blush

This used to be a cult classic. Such a good blush. It’s very light and very warm toned, so it might not work for some skintones – but if you’re into true peaches, this is as peach as it gets. It’s a matte finish, and it’s somewhat sheer but one can easily build up the intensity to near-clown status. Also, it’s not an easy colour to dupe. Other shades tend to lean either more pink or more orange – this is the perfect balance of both. Very unique .

There you have it. I would love to end this post with a clever pun on orange dudes and their impeachments, but I’ve been working a lot the past few days and have no wit left.

How ’bout you? What’s your favourite peach?

  1. I prefer shiny and shimmery over matte finish blushes, so from your selection I would definitely pick Mac Extra Dimension Blush. Fairly Precious looks like a really pretty and flattering shade.

    1. Yes, that would be ideal if you love shine and shimmer! And the Extra Dimension formula doesn’t really emphasize texture, it’s so good. Fairly Precious is a really light peach that becomes a highlighter/blush hybrid on the cheeks, it really is flattering! 🙂
