I’ve tried the loose version of one of Karla Cosmetics Multichrome eyeshadows before, but I don’t really like to mess with loose powders, so I decided to get pressed versions next time. Well, that backfired on me, didn’t it? This is incredibly fragile and prone to breaking. But at least the shades are gorgeous.
Review, Swatches | 3ina The Color Pen Eyeliner in 575
I don’t think I ever purposefully bought anything from 3ina (pronounced mina, fyi, ’cause I know that’s been bothering you if you didn’t know). Everything I have I got in advent calendars or subscription boxes. But there hasn’t been a product yet that I haven’t liked.
Review, Swatches | Gucci Satin Lipstick in 501 Constance Vermillon
I had to get one of these lipsticks exclusively for that vintage-looking packaging – and once again, I fell prey to an orange-red shade. I love this colour way too much.
Review, Swatches | Wet n Wild Color Icon 10 Pan Palette in Heart & Sol
Wet n Wid eyeshadows can be hit or miss, and for the price they charge we can’t be too disappointed about that – I’ve experienced quite the mix of both throughout the years, so when I get a hit on my hands I want to take note of if and credit them properly.
Review, Swatches | Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick in 75 Rouge Amazone
Red lipstick is the LBD of makeup – at least for me. So whenever I splurge on a luxury, extremely high end lipstick, ten out of ten times, it’s going to be a red shade.
Top Favourite Lilac and Purple Blushes (Updated! 2023)
The post I’ve done about purple and lavender blushes in 2021 has been one of my most popular posts of all time. Almost 3 years later and a few extra launches, I think it’s time for an update.
Review, Swatches | Moira Eye Catching Dip Liner in 18 Yellow
How fun is a yellow eyeliner? Usually, liquid liners in pastel or bright colours are not that good, but I had such a good experience with the Kylie Cosmetics baby blue liner that I got cocky and went searching for other bright shades. Moira has quite the colour range for liquid liners, and yellow just made sense.
Review | Sisley Paris Double Tenseur Primer
I’ve only just recently realised this is quite a controversial primer. The price point is what drives that, because it’s so expensive that it basically divides people into two groups: the ones that will never be happy with it because there’s only so much a primer can do and it will never be worth the price, and the ones that convince themselves that this does indeed do a world of difference because, for the cost, it must, right?
Well, I’m in neither group and therefore in the perfect position to give an unbiased opinion.
Review, Swatches | Erre Due Sparkling Powder in 409 Bursting Lava
I’m never tired of baked blushes. I blame the Mineralize Skinfinish frenzy the world was going through when I first got interested in makeup and MAC was the sh*t. I’ll forever be attracted to the domed, shimmery, multicoloured beauty powders. This time I’m reviewing a blush from a Greek makeup brand, Erre Due (not affiliated); they have a website and ship worldwide, so no need to wait for a trip to Greece to get your hands on their stuff.
Review, Swatches | Moira Live In The Moment Shadow Palette
Following my recent Moira infatuation, I felt I needed to test and review their eyeshadow formulas. They have quite a few palettes that look stunning (have you seen the pastels?), but for my first try I decided to go with a smaller option with a safer (but not boring) colour story. So, the Live In The Moment palette it was.
