The post I’ve done about purple and lavender blushes in 2021 has been one of my most popular posts of all time. Almost 3 years later and a few extra launches, I think it’s time for an update.
Review, Swatches | Erre Due Sparkling Powder in 409 Bursting Lava
I’m never tired of baked blushes. I blame the Mineralize Skinfinish frenzy the world was going through when I first got interested in makeup and MAC was the sh*t. I’ll forever be attracted to the domed, shimmery, multicoloured beauty powders. This time I’m reviewing a blush from a Greek makeup brand, Erre Due (not affiliated); they have a website and ship worldwide, so no need to wait for a trip to Greece to get your hands on their stuff.
Review, Swatches | Moira Sunflower Beauty Dual Blusher
Can you please commend me on my efforts to not keep bringing you the same pinky-peach blush shade? We have yellow today. Yellow, people! The lengths I will go to not be boring (call me ugly, call me weird, call me awkward – but please, never boring).
Review, Swatches | Moira Blushing Goddess Duo in Berry Flirty
Being as I am, forever looking for lilac blushes, I was dumbfounded by finding out that Moira, this pretty inexpensive brand, had one within its range. I just waited patiently until the blush duo in Berry Flirty was on sale and I snatch it up as soon as it was.
Review, Swatches | Moira Signature Ombre Blusher in 06 Mellow Pink
I’ve been getting more and more into Moira. The multichrome eyeliners brought some attention to this brand, but what actually caught my eye in the first place were their ombre blushes (of course it was a blush). How could I resist that pan design?
Review, Swatches | Lethal Cosmetics Magnetic Face Powder in Aster
I’ve delved into Lethal Cosmetics before but I’ve never tried one of their blushes (shocker, I now). For the first shade I ever tried, I had to go with something unique, because indie brands are the only ones who dare to make unconventional colours. So I chose Aster.
Review, Swatches | Wet n Wild ColorIcon Blush in Nudist Society
I’ve had too many expensive blush reviews in a row, it’s time to switch gears. One can definitely get blushed up on a budget. Looking at all the blushes I own, the most inexpensive (that is still available) is Wet n Wild’s ColorIcon Blush in Nudist Society, a 3,99€ option that deserves a bit of spotlight in this blog.
Review, Swatches | Flormar Baked Powder in 22 Marble Beige Gold
After reviewing the new Guerlain powder, I thought I’d revisit a less expensive blush/bronzer hybrid alternative. This is one of Flormar’s products that I haven’t gotten around to review, yet it’s my most used from them.
Review, Swatches | Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush in 10 Intimate
Apparently, 2023 is the year of the blush. Brands are coming out with new lines, new shades or new formulas. This is dangerous for such a blush fiend like me. I don’t need to spend any more money on this. I got Euribor to worry about.
This being said, I bought one of the new Giorgio Armani blushes. Yep, that happened. And this is the review.
Review, Swatches | Guerlain Terracotta 2023 Flower Blossom Healthy Glow Powder
Every year, Guerlain launches a limited edition Terracotta powder for summer. I’ve been able to resist the more recent releases but this year the flower pan design got to me. It’s been a while since I’ve tried the formula, and I’m able to report that things haven’t changed a bit.
