Tarte came out with this limited edition set for last year’s holiday season and it is still available and for sale on most places, so I feel a review is due. Or maybe you don’t care about what I think of it and are here just for the swatches. Totally legitimate. Whatever it is, I hope this is still useful to someone out there.
There was a lot. This took way to much time to write. And this is just makeup that came out during 2022, not necessarily everything I bought throughout the year. I’m going to have to either control my spending or never do one of these posts again and we both know I’m not doing the first so you better enjoy it so I hope my efforts were not in vain and that this is useful or at least entertaining to you, my reader.
Is this the forth post in a row where I’m reviewing blush? Yes it is. And more will be coming. Addictions aside, my review of Tarte’s 2021 holiday blush set has been one of my most viewed posts, which tells me people are still very much interested in this formula. The Precious Gems cheek palette is last holiday’s palette and it is still available and currently on sale, so a review feels very apropos.
Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, boxing day, and generally because I’ve been a very good girl – to myself, mostly – these are the reasons I have a decently sized holiday makeup haul to share.
I’m on a cheek roll, aren’t I? With the Dior blush, and the Sephora little experiment looking one, and the Louboutin palette… After getting all of those during Black Friday sales, it just made sense not to get just one more blush, but a set of 5. Well, 4. One is a highlighter.

Limitless by Sephora was an online event prepared by Sephora Portugal that was supposed to happen the past 20th of June. You could get access to the event by buying a beauty box filled with goodies for 30€. When the boxes sold out, you could get the ticket for the event alone for 10€. Now, this was the first time something like this was organised by Sephora. Did I mention it was online?
