Just another winter Sunday. We went to Dear Breakfast again, and I would tell you that I’m always excited to go there because the food is great, which it is, but I would be lying. I’m excited ’cause of Mary. They serve Bloody Mary’s with brunch.
Anyway, it was an excuse to bust out these boho, non-office appropriate over-the-knee boots.

Polka dots are one of those things that never go out of fashion. I have a knitted cropped top from Zara that’s been worn to death because it’s one of my favourites to wear with high-waisted bottoms. The good thing about a black and white print is that you can pair it with the loudest colour in you closet, if you want. I chose my bright orange pleated shorts.

I knew what it looked like when I got it. The friend I was shopping with also knew what it looked like because she told me. Did I listen? Nope. The fabric had a great feel. The relaxed fit was confortable and flattering. I can make it work, I said to myself, no one will notice. You dumb b*tch.
