I enjoy wearing a multitude of different styles and aesthetics, but there’s probably none that I relate to more than Jeremy Scott’s Moschino. And since knowing he was stepping down as Creative Director, I decided to add as many pieces from that magnificent era to my wardrobe as I could.
I was eyeing these Moschino shorts for the longest time, but always thought they were too hard to style to be worth dishing out the money they cost. Until I saw them heavily discounted on Glamood (a fashion outlet website) and got them anyway.
The new Barbie movie (haven’t seen yet, but about to) has opened up the nostalgia flood gates and we’ve been inundated by a fierce comeback of the Barbie aesthetic – and I’m. Here. For. IT!
It’s funny that bag reviews, although not the core of what this blog is about, keep getting me consistent views. I guess it makes sense, designer bags are an investment. Would it be so that I would have all the money in the world, I would get and review them all. You know, for the sake of the community. For today, I have the Moschino orange and blue polka dot M Bag.
It’s been a while since I lasted posted about an outfit. Yes, this used to be a beauty and style blog. But the type of work I do can be done from home, and with the streets closed and the events cancelled, one can never find an occasion to strut their stuff – and I got a lot of new stuff to strut during the quarantine.
The Moschino Fall 2020/2021 collection was jaw dropping and mouth watering. A world where Marie Antoinette meets Barbie and God is a drag queen with a sweet tooth. Makes no sense? Sure. Sounds absolutely fabulous? Undoubtedly.
I’m so happy to have a piece of that cake in my closet.
