When it comes to luxury makeup, Victoria Beckham takes the prizes for sophisticated packaging. I didn’t know sophistication would be a word I would use to describe packaging, but alas, here we are. Here’s to hoping what is inside is just as impressive.
I had to get one of these lipsticks exclusively for that vintage-looking packaging – and once again, I fell prey to an orange-red shade. I love this colour way too much.
The issue with having so many things I love is that there is not enough time to wear them all as frequently as I would like. It happens with shoes, it happens with clothes, it happens with red lipsticks.
Red lipstick is the LBD of makeup – at least for me. So whenever I splurge on a luxury, extremely high end lipstick, ten out of ten times, it’s going to be a red shade.
This is the last of the products I got from my first Flower Knows purchase, and it is one more of their bestsellers from the Strawberry Rococo collection: the Cloud Lip Creams. I can see why they are a bestseller, and it’s not just the packaging.
This gift set came out over the holidays and it was a completely blind purchase on my part. I had seen no reviews on it, even though the primer and lipstick are part of Estée Lauder’s permanent line – I just got it to be eligible for their blockbuster kit. This is still available and for sale on a few retailers, and let me tell you… run, don’t walk.

I had every reason to: it is in collaboration with an iconic artist, the design and colour story is unique and collectible, and I’m a master at delegating my problem with lack of makeup storage for future me.
Here we are, Christmas Eve, and the 12 Days of Christmas finale!! I have to confess, this was a daunting task. A post everyday for 12 days in a row talking about so many favourites was really tiring. We’re getting close to the finish line, people. This post is all about lips, in all its categories: lipstick, lip liner and lipgloss. Again, I’m mentioning formulas as favourites, not specific colours, because that would be too difficult and I don’t need the stress.
If I had to give this summer a signature lipstick colour, I would say a bright orange red. Summer makeup collections are typically filled with juicy corals and watermelon reds, but this year in particular a strong orange undertone seems to be dominating the lip scene. I’m all for it.
