So here’s why I’ve been gone for a bit.

Your girl got marriiiieeed!!

Yep, that’s me in the picture.

I got married. I’m a married woman now. I’m a wife. Isn’t that the most grown up thing you’ve ever heard in your life?

This year I’ve been keeping with a regular posting schedule up until late March. Then I had to take a bit of a break. Planning a wedding and a honeymoon around covid fears and restrictions can be quite exhausting.

Also, by late March I accepted a new job. Which I’m starting next monday.

Also, we bought a house. We’re moving this August.

So as you can see, lots of changes. Lots of things to plan, lots of stress, documents, paperwork, stress, scheduling, covid testing, have I mentioned stress?

Everything is changing for the better though. After a year where time felt like it froze and nothing was moving on, everything is happening all at once now.

I’m going to try to keep posting regularly again. I have a lot of content (no, seriously), because I haven’t stop hauling (which totally derailed my low buy year). I have been to Greece for my honeymoon and, to my surprise, there are a lot of Greek makeup and skincare beauty brands – and I indulged, so expect a post about that. I also did my own makeup on my wedding day, so there’ll be a post about that too.

The break was nice, but I miss posting. Glad to be back.

  1. Big congratulations on your wedding! I don’t know how you managed to plan a wedding and a honeymoon, get married, get a new job and buy a new house all at once! It must have been a very hectic few months, no wonder you didn’t have time to post. Best luck on your new job and house move and looking forward to reading your new posts. By the way, your wedding dress is absolutely stunning and the picture is just amazing!!

    1. Thank you so much! It’s so good to be back. It has been hectic, but there is a saying here, “when you run because you enjoy it, you don’t get tired”, and it’s very much applicable here 😀 a lot of changes, but all for the better.
