You can’t be a shoe enthusiast like me without having a few unconventional pairs on your wardrobe. Or more than a few. Spanning different decades and styles. Hey, it’s shoes, the more the merrier. We shan’t be shoe-shamed.
Anyway, funky shoes, specially if multi-coloured, can be hard to style. Particularly if you want to incorporate them in an office appropriate outfit, which I certainly do. I’ll be damned if I only get to wear these boots during the weekends. There’s always the all-black outfit option, that’s great to have and will always look chic, but I don’t want to keep defaulting to that. So this is my take on a classic yet unorthodox outfit, that I can actually be taken serious in.
The boots are a laced up, vintage style with velvet ties and this amazing flowery print. They’re from a limited edition released by Hush Puppies with the singer Rita Redshoes. I also wore a khaki, double-breasted military blazer that’s very structured, with a cinched waist and shoulder pads. It’s actually from Mango from a few years ago, but it’s very reminiscent of the ever-so-popular, never-so-affordable Balmain jacket.
I pair the jacket with a form-fitting, beige top with a cut-out detail and tweed shorts. The toggle fastening makes the shorts a bit more interesting and it’s a very classy detail.
I wore the Staud Frida bag, again. I mean, free da bag already, am I right? (so f*cking cheesy…)
But, I think it’s my third outfit post in a row with this bag. That should tell you something about this bag’s versatility. Or my lack of imagination.

Those boots are freakin’ fabulous!!!!
Thank you! I really loved them. It’s like a Victorian pair of boots and my grandmother’s curtains had a baby.
LOL I have been told that I have a “grandma-style” often.
