Red Plaid and Green Tea

Went to brunch at a place specifically chosen because they serve bloody marys (Dear Breakfast, on Rua das Gaivotas, in Lisbon, you’re doing it right), in red plaid and a torero-style jacket. I paired the high-waisted midi skirt with a tucked in plain red button-up shirt, and a black cropped knit jumper over top.

I wore my gold Ralph Lauren Dryden Caley mini saddle bag. I really like metallic bags – when in doubt, you can always choose a bag the same colour of your clothes hardware (zippers, buckles, buttons in this case).

After eating , we went for a walk to make most of the good weather and the city’s golden light – and accidentaly stumbled upon this tea haven. The store’s name is Companhia Portugueza do Chá.

Daniel, who works there, was very accomodating and took the time to counsel us. I wanted a lychee tea and he suggested a new blend they had with strawberry and roses. It had little flowers and smelled extremely sweet – sold! He still gave us a generous sample of the pure lychee tea – so nice of him. We left with three varieties of green tea and a black, christmas blend.

Awkwardly roaming the store while trying to look casual for the photo and assertively failing. I’m a plaidypus.
The tea store’s bag is at my right while a graffiti fox seems to find me uninteresting.
I wore the Dorateymur boots reviewed here.
